Poli Polo is a laboratory of innovation, prototyping and digital experimentation founded by Plam Studio at the spaces of Laboratorio Aperto Ferrara.
A space that gives companies and professionals the opportunity to develop projects in product design, graphics, photography, packaging and exhibition design by providing technologies and skills. A place also open to students and citizens, a creative hub where they can experiment and test their ideas, located in the city center in the spaces of the Ex Teatro Verdi.
For the project, Plam Studio studied all aspects of the graphic identity, from the creation of the logo to the production and printing of merchandising.
The pop-up event (see images below) for the inauguration of the space was entirely taken care of by Plam through the design and installation of the set-up, creating, thanks to the technologies in the laboratory, displays and demonstration structures.
The event accommodated 4 “test areas” to explain the potential of the new Polipolo space to visitors. 3D printing, shooting area, viewers and R&D assistance.
Polipolo was created with the idea of making it open to the public to develop product design projects and beyond with related communication and promotion, seeking to combine the different services of research, prototyping, and dissemination into a single package.
During the pop-up event, visitors were invited to test and experiment through various activities with the technologies available at Polipolo and leave feedback at the end of the experience that would be useful in refining the services offered.
The lab is currently active and open to citizenship in the spaces of the Ex Teatro Verdi - Lab Aperto Ferrara.
