For Doriano Tòdero Plam Studio handled the photography for the social campaign to launch the first collection. A clothing line designed for the valorization of waste and reuse.
Doriano Tòdero is an independent fashion house born out of a need for renewal, exploration and new self-definition.
The long collaboration with Lanificio Paoletti has generated a strong awareness in the use of yarns and material properties. Genderless and one size fits all, designed to fit every physicality and enhance the characteristics of our bodies. The clothes are made in a small Italian village nestled in the countryside of Treviso. The contact with nature typical of small realities gives way to the desire to escape, to dream of a world with a much wider breath. The photographs want to express the ability to be ourselves or whoever we want, beyond what surrounds us or what we do.
The realization of the photo campaign was divided into two moments: set set and studio set. The images shot in the woods were taken in broad daylight, using flashes to cut down the natural light and create an alienating, artificial night effect; this choice conveys a feeling of unreality, of dream.
The studio photographs, on the other hand, have more classic lighting but maintain the spirit of the brand through unconventional poses.
