For DIAPReM (Departmental Centre for Research and Services for the Development of Integrated Automatic Procedures for the Restoration of Monuments) we designed the flows and layout of the website.
The re-styling of the site focused on the creation of a digital archive that would make the projects carried out to date easily accessible and consultable. The ‘Projects’ page in fact presents itself as a filterable archive that allows the selection and identification of works quickly.
The entire site is inspired by a dashboard with controllers always available for simple and intuitive navigation.
The colours are high-contrast and the yellow used for the hoovers is reminiscent of archival research through highlighter-style underlining. The colours are reminiscent of those found in the 3D models detected by the DIAPReM.
The menu is always present on the left of the screen and allows the user to move easily between pages, when necessary, filter bars are called up to allow more precise control over what the user sees in the centre of the screen.
DIAPReM brings together methodologies from different sectors: from surveying to diagnostics, from restoration to recovery technology, from structural analysis to land management (webgis). The experience acquired in this specific sector is used in the construction of an interdisciplinary research relationship working with advanced information technologies and multimedia supports.
